SEC Chair Paul Atkins threw full public support behind the CLARITY Act Tuesday, offering Congress technical assistance to divide crypto oversight between the SEC and CFTC. The bill cleared the House in July 2025 and the Senate Banking Committee 15β9 in May 2026 β but needs a full Senate floor vote before August recess or it likely stalls ahead of midterms.
