Researchers unearthed over 100 fossils in Canada's Northwest Territories, including Dickinsonia (one of the earliest animals known to move across a seafloor) and Funisia (the oldest evidence of sexual reproduction ever found). Six of the fossil groups had never been recorded in North America before, and the site pushes key evolutionary milestones back by up to 10 million years.
