๐ Reddit $RDDT rips +14% โ S&P 500 inclusion triggers ~$3B in forced buying
Reddit was just announced as the next S&P 500 member, joining August 18 and replacing AvalonBay Communities. J.P. Morgan estimates index trackers will need to buy nearly $3B worth of RDDT shares โ roughly 3 normal trading days of volume โ creating a massive wave of forced demand. Shares are still down ~31% year-to-date despite today's pop. Not financial advice. Is this the start of a real RDDT recovery, or just a short-term index-inclusion bounce?
