Memory chip stocks are ripping Tuesday with Micron up ~7% and the broader DRAM ETF jumping 11%. The story: Micron says it is literally sold out of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) through 2026 AND 2027 as AI builders can not get enough. The move is also front-running a wave of big tech earnings this week that should confirm massive AI capex is still flowing. Western Digital and Seagate caught the wave too, each up ~12%. Is memory the best backdoor play on AI right now? Not financial advice.
