At FMS 2026 in Santa Clara, Samsung unveiled zHBM, a 3D memory chip that sits directly on top of AI accelerators to cut the distance data has to travel. It delivers 4x the bandwidth of HBM4 at just 1/4 the power. Samsung also showed zNAND-O and a V10 BV-NAND chip with 400+ layers. Could this finally kill the AI memory wall?
