๐ SanDisk $SNDK -8%, Micron $MU -6%: SK Hynix weak HBM4 outlook torches memory trade
SanDisk (SNDK) is down about 8% and Micron (MU) off roughly 6% at Monday's open after South Korean brokerage KIS slashed its SK Hynix Q2 profit estimate 8% below consensus, blaming slower-than-expected HBM4 high-bandwidth memory shipments. Western Digital (WDC) is also sliding ~6% in sympathy. The fear: if HBM demand is undercutting expectations, the AI memory supercycle may be losing steam faster than bulls priced in. Not financial advice. Is this a real trend reversal for memory names or just noise you'd be buying?
